So a few months ago, Ty started climbing out of the crib and we therefore, moved him out of the crib and put him on a twin mattress on the floor. Well, the other day, I had decided that it was time to find our big boy a bed. I searched Craigslist and found this Pottery Barn twin bed for $400. I then talked the guy down to $325!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking I'm a bargain shopper. The bed is heavy and great quality! You can still get this bed at PB Kids for a whopping $1000. Yes, I'm pretty proud of my shopping skills!!!
Every night when I put Ty to bed, I say his prayers and give him lots of kisses! On Monday night, he decides to clasp his hands together during our prayer and then say, "Amen" after it. Melted my heart!!! Oh, and thanks to my mom, he is still going straight to bed like a big boy with no tears. Mom, you rock!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy! Henry just scaled the side of his bed earlier this week! Jon put it on the lowest notch, and so far, so good! A big bed...oh, our babies are growing up too fast!

We just put Avery in her toddler bed and then realized maybe we should have saved the money for the rail and just get the big girl bed rails. OH WEL.. she loves it and looks like Mr. TY does too!!
