Slacking Big Time

I've been at work full time now for two weeks. It hasn't been too bad at all. Thanks to my parents for helping out with Addison and Ty, the adjustment has been pretty good. Today was their first day at big kid school and the director said they did fantastic. I'm already in love with the school. I think I forgot to post when Addison was Star of the Week at mommy's day out. Isn't she the cutest!!!! She has been having a few nightmares. She woke up two different nights and threw up after saying she was having a bad dream....so sad!!!
I just love my munchkins!!

Watching Nate play ball. Ty got the tummy bag a few hours after this game...ugh! All 3 kids have been sick since I've started back to work. Not fun!!!!

Naterbug has finished basketball and we have started baseball. Nate is the only 2nd grader on the team. The rest of the kids are in 3rd or 4th grade. He might be the littlest boy but man he can hang!! He is a fast little toot and he's not afraid to shoot or drive in to the basket!!!

Catch Up

Ty's booboo is much better!!! Dentist said no permanent damage, woohoo!! Addison also got her teeth cleaned! Both of them had the best time at the dentist; made buddies w all the nurses!!

Nate used his birthday gift cards to buy new shoes, he was so proud of himself!!

Addison is new cruising around without training wheels. Such a big girl!!

I start my full time job today!! Excited!! My parents are watching Addison and Ty this week. I already miss them!!!!

Being a Teacher

See how my babies have grown!!! Presh!!!!

Before I stayed at home, I taught school for 9 years!! I LOVE it too!!! I loved my team; the 4 of us are still very close and how fun is it to hang out with kids all day long. When I found out I was pregnant with Ty, we knew I'd stay home for a few years as daycare for two kids was already very expensive!!!

See, when growing up, my mom never stayed home with us! We had the best life. I never felt cheated, jipped, etc that my mom was working. I didn't know any different. I always felt loved, my parents supported us in everything we did!! I had and still have the best parents EVER!!! I was never one of those women that just KNEW they would stay at home after having kids. I am a very social person and I love hanging out with peeps!!!

I loved loved loved being home with my kids! As Ty has gotten older, I was missing teaching, like big time...my sister thinks I'm crazy. When I left teaching a few years ago, I said I would NEVER go back!!!! Look at me now!!

I started working part time in September while Addison and Ty were at Mommy's Day Out. It was perfect! I was loving it; working with kids again.... FUN!!!!! My principal aproached me about a month ago and asked if I would like a full time teaching position.

I said YES!!!

So excited !!!!!!!!

Poor Ty

On Tuesday, Ty was playing around in the bath and hit his mouth on the faucet! Blood was everywhere and he wouldn't stop crying. Thanks to my friend Kari's advice, I took him to Urgent Care. So glad I did!!! Gums are badly bruised and swollen and his fr ont tooth is pushed up and back a little. Doctor gave us antibiotics for infection and told us to see pediatric dentist ASAP. He can only eat mushy food for a week. Poor baby!!! Today I'm taking him to the dentist, I hope there will be good news!!

1. How long have you and your significant other been together? We've been together since our junior year in high school. I'm 36 now, do the math....crazy!!!!!!

2. How did you meet? His family moved to my hometown when we were sophomores in high school. We started dating our junior year. We went to separate colleges so I broke up w him a few times but I always went back to him. Of course, he couldn't live without me either. He played college baseball so we would go weeks without seeing each other..ugh!! Longest was 2 months!! SAD!

4. If married, where did you get married? Big or small wedding? We got married in Lampasas and pretty big wedding.

5. Do you have nick- names for each other? I call him babe, stud muffin, sexy studd, niener. He doens't really have one for me.

7. Tell us how he proposed: he was staying at a hotel for business and I went to visit him. We were getting ready to go eat and he asked me. I knew it was coming, we had talked about it

Our Weekend

Once again posting from my phone because it is so easy!!! What a relaxing weekend we've had!!! Nate had a basketball game and then he went to work w daddy! I took Addison and Ty to Brody's birthday party! We can home and chilled until my cousin Christie and her daughter Camryn came to visit! We went and had yummy Mexican food!! What a perfect weekend!!!!!

Full Time Baby!!!!!

I'm going back to work full time; teaching first grade! I'm sooooo excited about this new adventure!!!! I loved loved loved being home but over the past year, I really started missing teaching!!!! I've been praying about it for about year and the timing is right!!!)

Addison loves big shades like her momma!!!!

Also, I told Nate I was going to take the whole family on a fabulous vacation and he said, "Yes, Schlitterbahn!!!!" ugh, I was thinking a white sandy beach!! Thanks to Nate, I'll b saving some money!!! Hehe
