Mid Week Randoms

So, I'm loving my new gig but I'm definitely BUSYBUSYBUSY!!! I keep wondering how I worked full time when Nate and Addison were smaller. Kudos to all you full time mommas out there! A few of my bloggy/facebook buddies told me to post pics of what I wear to work...here u go...this is first day pic. Notice how chubs I am. Yeah, no Insanity and eating bad equals some weight gain. DARNIT!! I mean seriously, check out those legs...oink!!! Don't have pics from my 2nd or 3rd day of work. I did order a few dresses for work...I'll post when they arrive. CUTE!!!

I'm only working with 4th graders in math....love it!!!! They are really cool kids and I actually feel like I'm making a difference!!!My friend Kari gave Ty some Tinker Toys; my kids love them!

Rob came home with these on Friday!!!!!! I drank a whole bottle on Friday night. Then, Amanda came over and we had the 2nd bottle on Monday night...fun!!!!

This weekend Nate had a baseball tourney. His first one since July. His arm is heeled and he played great. It was HOT, 103 degrees on Saturday. Seriously, bring on the cooler weather!

I took a pic of Addison and Nate this morning because they were being soooo sweet to each other. That doesn't happen very often so I told them to hold the thought and I ran to get the camera.

Since we are crazy busy around here, I don't get to blog or play on Pinterest as often. SAD!!! But, I do like getting dressed up and getting out of the house. Nate and Addison keep saying that with the money I am making, they want to buy a ranch and put donkeys, cows and horses on it. HEHE!!! Keep dreaming!!

BIG NEWS!!

For the past few months, I've seriously been thinking and praying about going back to work. I NEVER EVER thought I'd go back, but over time, I started missing teaching. It helps that Ty is getting so big and independent. He loves going to preschool. My prayers were answered when my friend who is a principal in RR, asked if I wanted to come work full time or part tme. She said I could choose what my hours were if I did part time!! UGH, seriously!!! WOOHOO!! I chose to work two days a week and I'm going to be working with 4th graders with their math and reading skills in a small group....5 to 7 kids!!!!! I'm sooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!

Now, I get to get dressed up and fix my hair!!! No more NIKE shorts and caps on Monday and Fridays. YIPPY!!!

P.S. Just got the new Lady Antebellum cd.....awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a Monday

I've been washing clothes and cleaning all day long. It never ends!!!! I also made a soup in the crockpot, yummy!! Too bad it's still 95 degrees outside. We are about to walk out the door for Addison's tball game

I had a Stella & Dot party a week ago and this is what I got for having the party...cuteness!!!! I need to go somewhere so I can carry this purse!!!!
Addison is Slugger's little mommy. She takes him out every morning and bathes him all the time.

Seriously, how lucky am I. Three healthy kids, life can't get any better. God is so good, I don't deserve these 3 little blessings!!!

What's Important

Over the past year or two, I have spent WAY TOO MUCH time on the computer!!!! With blogging, facebook and Pinterest....it was kinda taking over my life. Time away from my sweet kids. I've really been thinking/praying about what kind of mom I want to be. I don't want my kids to remember me sitting at the computer. Therefore, no computer time unless my kids are in bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My family is way more important than any update, pin..u get the idea!

While the kids were at school today, I not only mopped the floors, dusted and did laundry...I got a pedi too. I always have my toes painted, I feel so much prettier when they look good. I know, so dumb!!!

What We've Been Up To

I can't believe it's been 10 years since 9/11. I remember everything about that day. I was teaching my class in the computer lab, my friend Cynthia walked in and told me what was going on. All I knew at that time, planes were crashing....scared to death!!! Rob was on a plane at the time and I was sooo scared it was going to crash!!! Finally, I realized Rob was safe but he wouldn't be able to make it home because all planes were grounded. I went and stayed with my parents until Rob made it home. Mom and I couldn't take our eyes off the news coverage. I remember thinking that I didn't ever want to bring kids into this crazy world!!!! Here we are, 10 years later and I have 3 kids! And I can promise you this.....not a day goes by that I don't think about that awful day!!!!!!

We haven't been up to too much lately...just hanging with the family.

* Rob and Nate have been at a baseball tourney all weekend. Nate still can't play so he is being the bat boy.

* Nate goes to doctor on Wednesday to hopefully be released to play baseball.
