Still at It!

I haven't worked out much the past few weeks due to school starting back up. I have however been eating pretty good. The teachers I work with are all healthy eaters, thank goodness!! They motivate me to eat healthy too!! However, yesterday, I had some yummy snacks!! The Starbucks Pumpkin Frapp is 200 calories and the m&ms are 180 calories. I didn't feel guilty at all because I counted those calories as a part of my 1200 calories per day that I get. I've lost around 5 lbs, woohoo!! I'm about to start running again to really get some of the chubbiness off.

First Day of School

I was really nervous about Addison's first day of kindergarten. She had a hard time going to bed last night. Crying and saying her tummy hurt. I put her in bed w me and she finally fell asleep. She did great this morning, I was really shocked!! So proud of my big girl!!
I could tell that Nate was nervous when we dropped him off at his new class. He was about to cry so I gave him a kiss and walked away. My heart was hurting!
Finally, Ty and I load up and head to his school. He cried the whole way there. He was still screaming as I walked out the door. As soon as I got in the car, I had a meltdown!!! After a few minutes, I calmed down and knew n my heart my babies would be just fine.
I picked them up after school and everyone was happy. Addison did tell me that the day was too long and she. Needed a nap! Ha, she was in bed early tonight! This momma is off to bed too!!

Day Before School

Today has been a very productive day. We skipped church because I was a little anxious about everything that needed to be done before school started. Addison and I hit the grocery store and SAMs all before lunch. We cooked, cleaned(check out Ty's room...it's always like that)..keepin it real, laundry, filled out paperwork, got backpacks ready, completed Addison's homework, took a family walk and read The Kissing Hand. I thought Addison was excited for her big day until bedtime. She started crying, saying her tummy hurt and that she was scared. Therefore, I picked her up and put her in bed with me. I can't stand the thought if my girl being so scared and nervous. My heart hurts for her. As for Nate, he's sad summer is over but he's ready for football. He could care less about school. Ty told me that he didn't want to go to school because if u say bad words, u have to go see Ms. Emily(the principal). Uh oh, I'm hoping he doesn't know this from experience. Praying for a great first day!!

Addison's Teacher

Tonight was Meet the Teacher. Addison was so excited about finally getting to go to big school. I'm so thrilled with her teacher!! Her friend Jamie is in her class, yeah!!

Nate on the other hand, cried when he found out that he didn't have one friend in his class. His teacher seemed really sweet. I didn't even try to get a picture of him because he was a mess. I kinda felt sorry for him but that's life; it's not always perfect!!!
Anyway, ready to start the school year!!

Serious Cuteness

So, I really need to win the lottery so I can buy all this cuteness for our ski trip! And that cute little Nike outfit! I bet I'd run faster if I wore it!!

Little Getaway

Rob and I got away for two nights!! We stayed at the Barton Creek Resort. Sooo relaxing!! We ate a lot!!!! Oink!! It was a much needed time away from the kids. Thanks to Sandi and my parents for keeping them. Today we went grocery shopping and cleaned house....I go back to work tomorrow. Woohoo!!!! I'm looking forward to being an Interventionist this year!! I work with a bunch of fun girls, yeah! And praise Jesus we got rain yesterday!!!!!

Kinder Camp

Addison had Kindergarten camp today. I was worried that she would get nervous and cry. I was wrong, she did great!! Of course we had to get new school shirts and then I took the littles on a lunch date. Poor Nate, he's been at golf camp all week and he's missing out on all the fun.

Girls Weekend

This past weekend, Rob took the boys to his family reunion. Addison and I stayed home because we had a baby shower(baseball theme, soooo cute) and my brother's 40th birthday party to attend. We shopped, rode bikes, went out to eat, got haircuts, layed in bed, organized my closet, played dress up and watched movies. It was so nice to give my full attention to her. We sure were missing our boys though!!
