On Saturday we went to DeLeon to celebrate my granddad's 88th birthday. It was a small celebration of lunch and cake. Good times catching up with some of my family that I don't get to see enough of. This is only half of the great grandkids.

Pepperoni Roll Recipe

These pizza rolls are so easy to make and yummy! I made two batches on Friday night and my family ate both. I also made a salad with homemade Ranch dressing. I never buy Ranch dressing in a bottle because it is gross and making homemade dressing is sooooo easy!!!

Here's what u will need:

1 TBSOlive oil

Mozzarella cheese

2 TBS Shredded Parmesan cheese

Pepperoni/hamburger/sausage(your choice)

Roll of pizza crust

1/2 T Garlic powder

1 T Italian seasoningFirst roll out the dough and cut
Place Mozz cheese and meat in center

Roll into balls and put in backing dish

Mix olive oil and seasoning; spread over pizza balls

Bake at 400 degrees 16-20 minutes...yummy!!!!

I served Marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

New Boots

Thanks to Nanis, Addison and Nate got some new boots. Of course, they had to wear them to church this morning. I think we might have to get Ty a pair too.

I ordered this skirt from Matilda jane; pairing it with the way cute $8 Target top and $4 socks from Target. I mean $4....what a deal!!! Aren't they so cute! The shoes are Livie and Luca....got them about 2 months ago with 30% off and free shipping. Those shoes are sold out everywhere now.

From a girly girl

to a little tom boy...YES, I have the best of both worlds with Addison.

She's wearing all of Nate's old baseball gear. She's the only girl on her tball team. She came home telling me she loved tball, can't wait to practice again, how good she hit the ball, that she runs fast...on and on. Addison is still talking about it today.

Hm, wonder where my girl gets the love of baseball from!!! Maybe her daddy and big bro. Ty put on his baseball shoes last night and screamed bloody murder when he didn't get to get out on the field and play. He kept screaming and crying, " I play baseball, I play baseball!!!!!!" It was really sad!

Nate is still out of sports for at least 3 more weeks. Then, he will go back for an xray and we'll go from there. The doctor already told us NO football this fall. We'll see what she says about fall baseball.

Nate- 2nd Grade

Yesterday, my sweet boy started 2nd grade!! He was really excited to see all his friends. He was pretty bummed that he can't play at recess or participate at PE. POOR kid!! I can't believe my baby boy is so big!! Oh, how I love him!!!!!!!!
I used to teach 2nd grade and I honestly think that it is the best grade ever!!!!!!!

Whirlwind Weekend!!

We surprised the kids on Saturday morning by taking them to the greatest show on earth! That's right, Barnum and Bailey's Circus! Money pit!!! HEHE!!

My favorite part...7 motorcycles crusin' around in that ball!!

The elephant is holding a dog....ca ute!!! I have to admit, the animals were soooo cute but I truly felt sorry for them!

After the circus, we had yummy Mexican food at Rob's fave restaraunt. Then we came home and took naps. On Sat night I went to Gap Outlet and scored some cuteness for a great deal!! I'll post pics later in the week of the goodies.

Sunday morning Rob took the kids to church while I packed bags for Burnet. We then headed to Burnet for a yummy Sundy lunch and pool party. What a fabulous day we had w the cousins!!

We put Slugger and Raider in a pen to play and we put a mister on them so they wouldn't get hot. Schweenie got to run around because she's a good girl and won't run away.

Now, all the kids are snuggled in bed and getting ready for Nate's first day of 2nd grade!!!

Meet the Teacher- Nate

Yesterday, we went to meet Nate's teacher.... reading the list to see who is in his class3rd year in a row that Lindsey is in his class
Mrs. Edge...she just had a baby 3 weeks ago so she won't be back to school until November. I know most parents worry when their kid's teacher has a baby and has a sub...not me. I'm not worried, it's all good!!

Nate wanted to go to Logan's to celebrate being in 2nd grade, losing a 2nd tooth and getting his cast off! Well sure thing buddy, momma wants some sweet tea!!!

BYE BYE cast!! Or we hope so!!! We are about to go to the dr. and hopefully they will take that bad boy off!!!!! Hasn't been fun hanging out inside for the past month!!!
