On Sunday, Rob took Nate and Addison to church while I stayed home with Ty. He still wasn't 100 percent better so I didn't want him going to church and getting other little ones sick. I cleaned house and did laundry while they were gone.
Here are a few pics before church:
I think this picture is so cute. Ty looks like a little rugrat.

After church, we headed to my parents to celebrate Pappy's bday. It was beautiful outside. Who knew that 2 days later it would be freezing cold out.

Nanis, Pappy and all the grandkids
Check out the presh football cupcake/cake.
Blue Eyed Baby boy melts my heart!!
Even when he runs around like a little yaloo!!!
On the way home from Burnet, Rob and I made a deal. If he would start taking his lunch to work and not eat out, I'd quit going to Sonic every single day to get me a DC. I agreed!!! So, he bought me some DC and this pebbled ice. I had this old Sonic cup and I thought I was going to make me a drink at home and be happy. Didn't happen!!! My drink didn't taste the same!!! I think it has to do something with the fountain drink. Therefore, I hit Sonic at HH yesterday. At least I got my drink half price. And Rob thinks I didn't go to Sonic yesterday. HEHE!!!
* I have a yummy and easy recipe to share with you guys on my next post.
* Thanks to Ashley for Poppy Seed Recipe, making it tonight!!
* I haven't blown money at Target in over 2 weeks!!! Woohoo!!!! Rob will be so proud. Staying out of that store!!!
Hoping everyone has a fabulous day!! Stay warm!! Off to Sonic......just kidding!!!!

I'm cracking up at your try at a homemade Sonic drink! There's just something about that fountain that makes the difference! Hope Ty is feeling better!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that getting out is a lot better, but i do love time when everyone is away so i can just reaaly tackle housework..i love a spotless house! And your sunday outdoor party...oh to enjoy outside! Lucky girl! And too funny about the DIY Sonic drink! I love diet vanillas so hubs brought home a huge jug of the vanilla flavor...i put like 5 squirts per drink! I made him get rid of it but wowee yum!
ReplyDeleteWe're home today due to 10" of snow!! Whoo hoo!! If I stayed out of Target I could literally save $400-$500 a month... I usually go once a week and spend $100. Maybe I should try it! Sad! But, I go there to buy necessities b/c I hate Walmart, so some of it is needed. ;)

My grandkids always look so cute!! We had a great time at Pappys birthday party! Always love having my kids & grandkids at the house! Brandi, hang in there. You don't need to be drinking so many diet cokes. The homemade probably didn't tast right because you didn't put cherry or vanilla in it. Ha!
