So a few months ago, my bro n law Chris asked me to run the Jailbreak with him. I like to run and do it quite often so I said, "SURE, no problem!!!" Then, a few days before the race, my friend kept saying how nervous she was and I'm thinking, is she crazy, it's just a 3.5 mile race!!! THEN, I find out on the morning of the race that it's running through terrain and through all these insane obstacle courses. UH, stupid me, maybe I should have googled the race. I had no idea it was that crazy.

We had such an amazing time!! About a quarter mile in, I busted it big time...almost landed in a cactus. We had to go through tunnels filled with water and mud, jump over obstacles, wade through mud pits, do the army roll through muddy gravel and run the 3.5 miles. I seriously thought I was GI Jane!!! As soon as the race was over, I headed home and spend the rest of the weekend watching my boy play baseball. Oh, I have to give a shout out to my bloggy buddy Lauren, she ran a half marathon this weekend. You go girl!!!!!!!

Oh girlie, you are sooo sweet to mention me, but honestly, I just had to put one foot in front of the other. I thought of you on Saturday, because I cannot IMAGINE being in shape enough to to obstacles....with the weight of additional mud, etc. I would have a heart attack! Wow...it looks like an AWESOME event to watch though! And best of all.....the calories we burned this weekend! Hip, hip, hooray!!!!!!! ;) Hope you feel okay today!
