Alumni Basketball Game

On Saturday evening, the family headed to Lampasas for an alumni basketball game. I was so excited to watch Rob play ball. I really wanted to wear his high school letter jacket because I thought that would be really cute; he sooo didn't like that idea. Rob and Rob B. were besties in high school and they were the OLD alumni. Some of the other alumni that played just graduated two years ago.. to me, that's not alumni.

My bestie Amy is Rob Bs cousin so she was there to cheer him on.

Jacie and Kord. She is due with her little girl a week before Kord's first birthday. Crazy, right!!

The "OLD" alumni.
I had to go to the trophy display and find Rob's hs trophies. District Champs in football. Rob was 1st team all state in football our senior year. The football team made it to regional finals our senior year. Such great memories.
District Champs in 1994. The team made it to regionals. Rob was MVP of our district. What a stud!! Those were the glory days. HEHE!! Now, he's an old man. I call him "Grumps."
Alumni beat the Badgers!! SAD!!!!!!
My boy Nate following in daddy's footsteps. It amazed me how much he is like his daddy. Loves any kind of sport! He likes to hunt now too.

Raven wore Rob's letter jacket. How cool is that!!!!! And cute too!!
My family!

Getting ready to race!
Harvey came out to watch the game
Raven, me, Jaci, Amy
Tak and Nate

I have to admit, being back in Lampus makes my heart go pitter patter. I have such fond memories growing up in a small town. We have such great friends there and sometimes I wonder what it would be like living back there and raising our little lovebugs.

  2. Ohhhh, what fun to go back home! We live in the small town where Jon grew up...live 1 mile from the school that he went to (and where our 3 will go). Jon's parents went to this school, and his grandparents too! Needless to say, when we go to a HS game, the kiddos love finding our family members' pix in the hallways!

  3. Too fun!! Jason was an all-state linebacker and played college football, but there's no way he'd get out there and play again! His HS team recently had an alumni game as well He says he's waaay too old and would get hurt! Ha!

I'm glad Rob had fun and did not get hurt! :)
