I took off work today so I could go volunteer and go to Nate's Thanksgiving lunch at school. I first had to drop off Ty and Addison at their school before I could go to Nate's school. Well, plans changed...on the way to A and T school, there was a huge wreck. I was in traffic for 30 minutes and it wasn't going anywhere. Finally, I decided to just turn around and come home. I had to cancel my voluteer spot(I feel like a total loser) and then go have lunch with all 3 kids, thank goodness my mom came with me!!
Nate was excited to have lunch w us for about 10 minutes and then all he cared about was hanging with his buddies...ugh!! BIG FAT BUMMER!!!

Nate was the only one that ate so we just stared at him. Addison and Ty wanted his pumpkin bread so they were a little crabby!!
Finally, he got some pumpkin bread. YUM!! Not as good as mommy's though!

* I'm having some peeps come over and give me a quote to clean my house; I'm hoping they'll give me a good deal since I want it done once a week. I seriously feel like I'm drowning!!!!! Loser wife, loser mom.....u get the idea!!!! I have only watched 1 hour of tv this week; REVENGE of course..love that show!! I'm just tooo busy doing laundry, cleaning, cooking, running around with kids, etc. I admit:::::::: I can't keep up!!!!!! Rob and I haven't been on a date since Hawaii(almost 4 months) and I also haven't had girl time in FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe since June or July!! I seriously need to get things figured out!!!

What a lovely lunch with N! Even though it seemed as if he wanted to go with his friends, he will remember that you went...and will always love that you did so.

Oh, don't be so hard on yourself. Being a mom is so darn tough. We need more hours in the day and more arms! I always feel like I'm just TRYING to keep up! Henry's new gig is to climb cabinets and throw off anything...then opens any cabinet and throws out everything! Nice! Oh...and I watched Modern Family last night..in bed...on mute. Everyone else was asleep. What's so weird? I think I can read lips! Ha! :) Big hugs to you sweet friend! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteI started watching Revenge while on the treadmill and I have fallen in Love!! I feel the same way, I always torn in different directions with cleaning, cooking, being a mom, being a wife...then I step back and take a deep breath!!Hope you have a good weekend :)
