When we found out we were having a little girl, I was SCARED and excited all in one! Scared because I knew how expensive little girls were. The minute I found out it was a girl, we named her Addison Renee Borchardt (after my twin sister) and the shopping began. I LOVE birdies, so when Pottery Barn Kids came out with the birdy bedding I just had to have it. Loved it so much that I got the big girl bedding too. 
I had a lady paint the 2 bird pics.
This prayer is what we grew up saying every night. It hung in our bedroom growing up. When I found out I was preggo with a girl; I went and got it out of my parents attic. I LOVE it!!!! My kids also say this prayer every night before bedtime.
Mom and dad bought this chandelier for Addison when I was pregnant.

I LOVE her room! So girly and sweet! Part of me wishes I'd gone more girly in Caroline's nursery, but I was staunchly anti-pink from the start...even though we knew she was a girl! Guess I was just scared the doc was wrong, and I'd have to redecorate! We did blue, yellow, green and chocolate...you should come by our blog sometime and see...there's lots of pics from last July and August.

We have painted our baby girl's nursery the same color, have a chandelier, and a bed crown over the crib too. check back i will be posting all the nursery pics in the next day or too. :)
